what would you do for a klondike bar?

I don't know if I would do anything for a Klondike Bar, but I think I would do a backflip for a coke! I think it is a new record- pushing 8 weeks without one and I barely miss it, however, yesterday was hot and an ice cold burn in my throat would have been so refreshing! BUT I overcame my temptation and for that I am glad :)

GOAL REACHED!!
My first walking goal was 100 miles and this week brings my total to 109 miles! ! I am pretty stoked about this because it was a bar I set for myself and I reached it. So what now? Reach higher...go further...keep on, keeping on -thats what now!

There are so many things I want to be able to do... one of which is running. One year I ran cross country in high school. I was not fast by any means, but I enjoyed it. I loved the meets we would have and running the course in the woods. There was something about that that I miss. On my to-do list for the week is to find a quiet half mile road or stretch of a road and I am going to start jogging it. Very small distance, but its a start. Who knows? Maybe by the end of the year I will be able to run 5 miles, maybe 10?! You must start with 1 step and so we shall see.

I have cut back my bike riding to 3 miles a day. I am so not a fan of riding my bike, but it makes a huge difference in my calorie burn so I must do it.
I rode my bike 15 miles this week (and 12 last week that I did not report)

I did not take my inches last week because I was feeling slightly ho-humish, so I took them this morning and am very pleased to report I have lost 4 1/2 inches! I KNOW this would have been alot more if I was faithful to the bar method :( No workouts this week on that!

I have really let my eating slip a bit, but I still managed to drop another pound. This gets frustrating- 1 pound, 1 pound, 2 pounds! I am thankful I am not adding these, but losing them, so I am not going to complain because it is my own fault!!

I am happy it is Saturday. This is my chill day of the week and I heart Saturdays. Today not so much chilling going on. It is Xavier's birthday today, so we are going to take him out this afternoon and do something. Mr. Gimpy, AKA Matthew, cant be up on his feet much , so it does limit some things, but I am looking forward to spending a day with my wonderful kids. I also have to make some desserts for a lunch fellowship tomorrow after morning service and finish my bday post on my Xavier.
So what am I still doing sitting here?? I don't know either!
