Spring is in the air!

If you know me at all, you would know how much I dig the winter time. I love snow and the cold and the short days and long nights sipping hot coco with no agenda. This winter was by far the most disappointing ! Maybe the tremendous amount of snow Croatia got last year set me up for this disappointment, but I am so glad its over! Not since December have we gotten any significant amount of snowfall - add that to extremely gray, boring days and and an already depressed state of mind and you will understand how completely ecstatic I am for Spring.

Today was absolutely gorgeous out. The boys had a basketball game and Trinity wanted to go so off the family went while I stayed behind to catch up on housework because I have been sick for 2 days, and ya know how that goes. I opened up the windows- I turned the music up and there was no stopping me! I cleaned windows and moved furniture and vacuumed ceilings, scrubbed toilets all the while breathing in the fresh Spring air. The sun shined through all the windows and made everything look so beautiful. Usually I hate the sun- usually I despise it...but not today. I was so happy to see it. I was so happy to feel its warmth while I was outside. I was so happy to squint as it reflected off my sparkling clean windows. Yes Mr. Sun!

I am officially over winter. Good riddance to it.
